Let down by sony
« on: April 23, 2011, 08:43:03 pm »
Is anyone else feeling totally let down by such a massive company like Sony. How can a major player in gaming let themselves become the victim of hackers. I understand why they Have taken psn offline due to credit card details being held etc but surely they can keep us.... The customer up to date with when it will possibly be back up. I know it's not the end of the world and yes I do have a life outside of gaming but no-one seems to know when it will be back to normal.

Hackers in the us by all accounts. Sony took it offline to try and find out where the breach came from. While I can understand security issues I just feel that the 75 million online users deserve some idea of a timescale that it will remain down.

That's the worry mate. The amazon cloud thing crashed also but I'm not sure if that's what holds sony sensitive data or not. I got wine earlier at the shop so my bank accounts not empty yet...lol
